Saw this thing = no sleeping

I saw Heath post this on his Xanga, and after reading throught the list, concluded I'm a "loser."  Just thought I'd share with everyone.  It will come at the end.

I went to Karamae's on Wednesday.  It was so super-amazing!  I saw the little town(s) of Poakwood.  Bigger than Minster, but Kara's still a "small town girl."    We had Chinese, finished a puzzle with her mom, exchanged some awesome gifts, played Phase 10 with her (sister's) friends, and hung out until I left at 2:15 am.  My parents were worried about me, and my dad called at 3:00 because he heard sirens and wanted to make sure it wasn't me that they were going to rescue.  I had already told him that I wouldn't be home until late, but I guess he didn't believe me.  I got home at 3:30 and went to sleep.  It was an awesome time, and it was great seeing Karamae over break.

Played some basketball today with some friends.  I'll be extremely sore tomorrow.  I've also been working on my 3-D puzzle, which I hope I'll have finished before I leave here on Sunday afternoon.  Crossing my fingers.

Alright, that's enough of this late-night banter.  Off to view some horny manatees.

Here's that thing I sent you:

Nobody came to find me

I've been playing Hide 'n' Seek since November and no one looked for me, so that is my explanation for not posting since then...  or reading other people's posts...  I am sorry to all who were super-pissed (which is probably no one).

Super short summary of what's been going on:  exams went fine, grades were amazing (Not to toot my own horn, but I got straight A's for the first time in my college career.  I'm proud of myself.), trip to San Diego was awesome, pep band games are alright (sort of a downer - only because Ronald Allen is so very horribly bad), bowl game is a go, and now I am chillin' at home for break.

Since my dad's side is ridiculous, we're starting our family Christmas party at 7:00 pm tomorrow - a Friday night.  Well, my parents think that's bullshit, since they already have a party planned, so we are going for one hour - no more, no less.  My friend, Adam, is also returning home from Iraq tomorrow, so his family's throwing a party for him which I will be attending.  Christmas Eve, I will be watching Night at the Museum with my family and then having my mom's side over for sandwiches and chips.  Christmas Day will consist of playing with whatever cool gizmos my brother and I got.  And on the 27th, I'm going to see Karamae.  YAY!!!  Poakwood better be ready for me.  So, yeah, my break is pretty boring and uneventful, but that's what it should be.  Don't worry, though, I will be back in the 'Nati for New Year's Eve, but I'm torn between two parties - Elyse's and my roommates' (the Mason ones, not Chad or I).  I'll probably spend time at both, but which one will I be at when the ball drops...  only time (and money offers (I'm lookin' at you, Elyse)) will tell.

That be all, I believe.  If I forgot something, or you'd like to hear more, please leave a comment, and I will expand on your selection of choice.

This quiz made me smile and frown at the same time...  odd feeling (and, no doubt, face).

... afterward, Kurt got into a car accident while talking on a cell phone.

Procrastination

I have a programming project due tomorrow, a set of instructions to finish sometime this weekend, and a programming project due Monday.  So I decided to do this instead which isn't required by anything or anyone.  Priorities?  Who needs 'em?

I got a Nintendo Wii!!  Woke up on Sunday at 5:15 AM and picked up William (he came along for the ride.  he didn't get one).  Got to Target at 5:40, and I was number 36 in line.  They only had 33.  SHIT!!!  Went over to Circuit City.  Was number 11 in line.  They had 28.  YAY!!!  They opened two hours later than Target.  BOO!!!  At 8:15, they handed out vouchers and told us to come back at 10.  Came back at 10, bought my Wii and some games, brought it home.  I didn't get to play it though.  Had to work at Germania, which was bullshit, and I'll leave it at that.  Needless to say, I got home around 8:20 and plugged in my system and played it - AMAZING!!!!  It's so super-great.

Oh, in case you didn't know, UC upset Rutgers.  I'd say it was a mixture of last home game for UC's seniors and Rutgers' high self-assurance that they'd cream us.  Moral:  don't underestimate a fearless bearcat.  Bitches!

Alright.  Gonna do this song thing and post my comics, then I'll go do my homework.

I'm gonna do this thing with all the songs on my MP3 player.  That's a lot of songs that I rarely listen to, so I might get something weird, but we'll see.

IF YOUR LIFE WERE A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

Opening Credits: "Hey Hey What Can I Do" - Led Zeppelin

Waking Up: "Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)" - Styx

First Day At School: "Bunker Hill" - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Falling In Love: "Hoedown" - Emerson, Lake, & Palmer (EL&P came with the fad of space-age music if you've never heard of them.)

Fight Song: "The Carnival of the Animals - The Swan" - Saint Saens (very melancholy for a fight song...)

Breaking Up: "Forest Theme" - Koji Kondo (from the Legend of Zelda soundtrack.)

Prom: "Kick Him When He's Down" - The Offspring  (this wasn't the first one.  I cheated, but the first one was a lesson from my Japanese Audio CD.)

Life: "Oceans" - Pearl Jam

Mental Breakdown: "Han Solo and The Prince" - John Williams (Empire Strikes Back soundtrack)

Driving: "Spanglish" - Hans Zimmer (Spanglish soundtrack)

Flashback: "Crosstown Traffic" - Red Hot Chili Peppers (remake of Hendrix's version)

Wedding: "Zelda's Ocarina" - Koji Kondo (Legend of Zelda soundtrack)

Birth of Child: "Friendship Test" - Tenacious D  (was originally one of the Japanese Audio lessons)

Final Battle: "Trashed and Scattered" - Avenged Sevenfold

Death Scene: "Goonies 2" - The Advantage (this group plays rock versions of video game songs)

Funeral Song: "Johnny, Kick a Hole in the Sky" - Red Hot Chili Peppers

End Credit: "Mario 3 - The Underworld" - The Advantage

I think my MP3 player got lazy and picked the same band.  That list sorta sucks.  Maybe I'll do it again another time, and I'll make a playlist.

Nothing cool... sorry

Just wanted to post these comics, so I can read more.

I'll explain:  I use Firefox with tabbed browsing.  I leave all my tabs open all the time.  I usually have about 7 open, no matter what.  Three of them are web comics.  I'm trying to catch up to the current ones by reading the archives, but every time I read a funny one, I tell myself to post it on Xanga, so my little group of fanzoids can read hilarity as well.  This causes me to sort of halt the catching up phase.  I need to post to keep going.  That's what this post is intended for.  Also, if you like to make fun of D'n'D, check out Order of the Stick and 8-bit Theater.  Hilarious.

Here are the comics:

Substitute

The second one is very true and should be used as a life lesson.

Recapping of weekend

The weekend was good.  Friday was Hallo-buff.  Chad and I were the Doug and Steve from Night at the Roxbury.  Pictures of the event are all over Facebook.  Had a bball game on Saturday.  Still not sure about the team.  If they continue playing like they did the first half, we're in for a horrible season, but if they play like the second half, we may have an alright season.  I'm not expecting much, though.  Saturday night was P'n'P.  Enjoyable evening.  Again, pictures are everywhere.  I'm still unsure of my feelings about Halloween.  Most girls dress-up in as little as possible, and that's not "my thing."  I don't enjoy ogling scantily clad women all around me.  I don't like giving attention to people who crave it (though I will admit that I sometimes am guilty of a little craving).  Maybe it's all in the season, and they're dressing up for fun, which is, more often than not, the case, so I'll leave that conundrum undecided as of now.  Worked concessions at WWE Cyber Sunday on Sunday night.  I was in the grill, so I didn't have to deal with all that redneck, white-trash, hillbilly shit.  Now, don't get me wrong.  There are some people who enjoy wrestling and don't fall in that category, but the majority of its viewers do, so I will judge.  Ended up as a good night.  Skipped my 12:00 and 1:00 classes on Monday because I was sleeping.  I'm a bad student.  I slept-in too much this weekend and fucked up my sleep schedule.  Hopefully, it will get back on track tonight or tomorrow.  I hate not being able to fall asleep at 3am.  That's a brief rundown of my weekend.  Did you enjoy it?  I know I did.  As usual, some comics:
